Cocuze (Co-koo-zay) is a regenerative design house guided by an intention to put back more than it takes, bringing together regenerative design, conscious luxury, and heirloom-worthy objects. Led by founder Hemant Sahni and rooted in permaculture philosophy, Cocuze shapes how you feel, think, and live through spaces, objects, and nourishing rituals, while offering a more thoughtful customer experience through Intimate Commerce and immersive technology.
At Cocuze, design is guided by the belief that a home should do more than look beautiful. It should feel restorative, support well-being, and reflect a deeper responsibility toward people and the planet. Through thoughtful planning, honest materials, natural textures, and enduring design choices, we create spaces that feel calm, refined, and deeply intentional. This is our idea of conscious luxury: beauty with meaning, comfort with depth, and elegance shaped by mindfulness, longevity, and care.
Our design language is eclectic, yet deeply rooted in Indian art, heritage, and cultural memory. We bring together traditional craft, architectural character, natural materials, and global influences to create interiors that feel layered, warm, and distinctive. Rather than following trends, we focus on spaces with identity, soul, and emotional resonance. The result is a timeless expression of conscious luxury - one that feels personal, culturally grounded, richly detailed, and quietly sophisticated in its presence.
We curate artworks, objects, and crafted pieces that carry meaning, memory, and permanence within a space. We believe true luxury lies in things shaped by the human hand - rooted in heritage, made with integrity, and created to endure across generations. From collectible art and sculptural forms to bespoke furniture and artisanal details, every piece is chosen for both beauty and emotional depth. Together, they create interiors that feel soulful, layered & timeless.
Our philosophy also extends into the everyday rituals that shape how life is experienced within a home. Through Alimento, we explore permaculture-led thinking around growing, cooking, gathering, and sharing food, transforming daily routines into more mindful and nourishing experiences. Alongside this, sound and music become invisible layers of design that influence mood, atmosphere, and emotional well-being. Together, these elements reflect our broader vision of conscious luxury.
Founder & Chief Creative Officer Hemant Sahni brings to Cocuze the rare combination of corporate rigour, global exposure, and a deeply personal design instinct. An IIM Calcutta alumnus, he stepped away from a high-profile international career in USA to build a design business rooted in meaning, nature, craft, and conscious luxury. At Cocuze, Hemant’s work moves beyond beautiful spaces and objects. He curates future heirlooms, designs homes that feel alive, and brings together Indian heritage, global eclecticism, and regenerative thinking to shape a more thoughtful way of living.
Alimento is Cocuze’s way of bringing permaculture into everyday living. It begins with edible balconies, terraces, other such spaces and chemical-free growing, then flows into the kitchen and the table - tools, vessels, linens, and rituals designed to slow you down. Nourishment here isn’t only food; it’s atmosphere, intention, and the quiet joy of a well-made meal. From soil to plate, Alimento makes the table the heart of the home.
Every testimonial reflects how our collection transforms spaces into warm, inviting, and soulful sanctuaries.
